Jonas Brothers Pittsburgh reviews
An intimate experience from a legend and an icon
I didn't know what to expect for the Madame X concert. I've never been to a Madonna concert before, but I was blown away by the intricate detail and the dedication to telling a story that she displayed throughout the entire concert. The majority of the concert centered around her new material, with a handful of classics revisited. She engaged with the audience, she sounded and looked amazing, and it was so great that I bought tickets and saw the concert twice. She pulled no punches, gave fans their monies worth, and showed why she is the Queen of reinvention and innovation.
Theatre by a pop icon
This show was more of a theatrical presentation than a pop music spectacle. It seems the queen is experimenting. I loved the show in its intimate setting and the show was beautiful. I did miss however the pop music spectacle that she usual provides. I missed the hits from her vast catalogue and the urge to get out of my seat and dance. I was glad to have seen this show and did enjoy it but I hope next tour she gives the devoted fan what they really want as well as pleasing the more casual fan with hits from her long career.
